XERF Structural Skin Tightening in Fort Collins, Colorado
Trusted XERF Skin Tightening in Fort Collins
Skin changes can sneak up on you. One day, your jawline looks a little softer, your neck feels a little less firm, or the skin on your face or body just does not seem to bounce back the way it used to.
That can happen for a lot of reasons: aging, weight loss, hormones, sun exposure, or the natural slowdown of collagen over time. And while it is completely normal, it can still feel frustrating when your skin does not match how you feel.
At Facetté Medical Spa, XERF Structural Skin Tightening is a non-surgical way to help firm, lift, and support your skin from within. This advanced radiofrequency treatment uses controlled heat beneath the surface of the skin to encourage collagen production, improve firmness, and create a smoother, tighter-looking result over time.
What makes XERF so exciting is that it gives clients a new option between “just live with it” and surgery. There are no needles, no numbing, and little to no downtime, making it a great fit for the face, jawline, neck, and select body areas where loose, crepey, or softened skin tends to show up.
Facetté is one of the first med spas in Fort Collins to offer XERF, and our team is especially excited to bring this technology to Northern Colorado with the experience, training, and thoughtful care our clients already know us for.

Perfect for Addressing...
Skin Laxity + Sagging
XERF helps target mild to moderate skin laxity by delivering radiofrequency energy below the surface, where collagen support begins.
Jawline Definition
If your lower face feels heavier or your jawline looks less defined, XERF can help support a more lifted, sculpted appearance over time.
Neck Tightening
The neck is one of the first areas to show collagen loss and skin laxity. XERF can be used to tighten and smooth the neck area with little to no downtime.
Crepey Skin Texture
Thin, crepey skin can happen with aging, sun exposure, or weight changes. XERF supports collagen remodeling to help skin look smoother, firmer, and more resilient.

For clients who have lost weight, including those using GLP-1 medications, XERF may help improve the look of loose or softened skin without jumping straight to surgery.
Fine Lines + Wrinkles
By encouraging new collagen production, XERF can help soften the appearance of fine lines and support healthier-looking skin texture over time.
What Results Can Look Like with XERF in Fort Collins
LIFT. TIGHTEN. REBUILD.
XERF is designed for clients who want natural-looking firming, not an overdone or drastic change. Treatments use controlled radiofrequency heat to reach deeper layers of the skin, helping support collagen remodeling and a tighter appearance over time.
Some clients notice early tightening, but the bigger changes usually continue to build in the weeks and months after treatment as collagen production improves.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
questions
XERF Structural Skin Tightening is a non-surgical radiofrequency treatment designed to help firm, lift, and tighten the skin over time. It works by delivering controlled heat beneath the surface of the skin, where collagen support begins.
As collagen production is stimulated, the skin can gradually look smoother, tighter, and more supported. It is a great option for clients who are noticing skin laxity but are not ready for, or interested in, surgery.
XERF is often searched as a “XERF laser,” but it is not technically a laser. It uses radiofrequency energy, not laser light, to heat deeper layers of the skin.
That heat is what helps encourage collagen remodeling and skin tightening. So while people may casually call it a laser treatment, XERF is actually an advanced RF skin tightening treatment.
XERF is most commonly used on the face, jawline, and neck, especially for clients who want more definition or firmness in the lower face.
It can also be used on select body areas where loose or crepey skin is a concern, such as the arms, abdomen, thighs, and knees. During your consultation, your provider will look at your skin, talk through your goals, and help determine which areas make the most sense to treat.
Yes, XERF can be a great option for clients who are noticing looser skin after weight loss, including weight loss related to GLP-1 medications.
When the body changes quickly, the skin does not always “snap back” the way we hope. XERF helps support collagen production and firmness without surgery. It will not replace a surgical procedure for severe loose skin, but for the right candidate, it can be a strong non-surgical option for improving skin laxity.
Most clients will see the best results with a series of treatments. In many cases, at least three sessions may be recommended, but the exact number depends on the area being treated, the amount of laxity, and your goals.
Your provider will build a treatment plan around your skin instead of giving you a one-size-fits-all recommendation. Some clients may want subtle firming, while others may be treating more noticeable laxity after aging or weight loss.
Most clients describe XERF as warm and very tolerable. The treatment is designed to deliver heat below the surface of the skin while keeping the experience comfortable.
One of the biggest benefits is that there are no needles and typically no numbing needed. You may feel heat in the treatment area, but your provider will check in with you throughout the appointment and adjust settings as needed.
Some clients may notice an early tightening effect, but the real results build gradually as your body creates new collagen.
Because collagen remodeling takes time, results often continue to improve over the following weeks and months. This makes XERF a more natural-looking treatment, since the changes happen progressively rather than all at once.
Facetté is one of the first med spas in Fort Collins to offer XERF Structural Skin Tightening, which gives our clients early access to one of the most talked-about new skin tightening treatments.
Our team also brings a strong training background and a thoughtful, personalized approach to treatment planning. We do not believe in pushing every new device on every client. We look at your skin, your goals, your comfort level, and your long-term plan before recommending what makes the most sense.
XERF cost depends on the area being treated, how many sessions are recommended, and your overall treatment plan.
Because every client’s skin and goals are different, the best way to get accurate pricing is to schedule a consultation. Your provider can evaluate the treatment area, talk through what kind of results you are hoping for, and recommend a plan that feels realistic for you. For more information, visit our Pricing Page.
